Sydney-based quartet HOYA includes singer-songwriter Margaret Bradford, vocals, bowed psaltery & whistle, her daughter Sonya Bradford on vocals, keyboard & base, skilled professional bluegrass musicians Gwyn Cleeves on guitar & vocals, Ian Knight on mandolin & vocals and Marcus Holden on fiddle & guitars.

Together they present a collection of songs, mostly written by Margaret, telling the stories of individual women, many of whom have achieved notable success in their field yet mostly remain unknown/unrecognised.

The CD ‘Inspirational Women’ has been well received with great interest at various festivals, house concerts and local libraries, etc. around Sydney and beyond where they have presented it.

RareTreats

RareTreats is a four piece multi instrumental band, with four part vocal harmonies, performing original and excellent rare songs uncovered. Most of them have been involved with St Albans for quite sometime.

Band members are:

Cec Bucello (BluesAngels, Usual Suspects, Slightly Off, Trad&Now)
Trudy Van Laar (TreetH, Bouddi Voice Choir)
Greg Frohlich (Frohlich Bros, The Settlers)
Terry Carlan (BluesAngels, Summerland Kings)

Instruments include: keyboard, banjomandolin, ukulele, suitcase drum kit, guitar, mandolins and slide guitar.
