Humph Hall is proud to host the premiere performance of six appealing musical creations of respected Australian composer Margaret Brandman, recently released on her Binna Burra Dreaming album. Her music for this album, inspired by nature, dreams and astrological themes, is filled with memorable melodies, delicious harmonies, and intriguing rhythms.
Enjoy the rich sound of Sydney Symphony Orchestra's Ariel Volovelsky’s sensitive and spell-binding ‘cello interpretations working hand-in-hand with Margaret Brandman’s performance of her interwoven piano lines. The composer will speak about her inspiration for each of the works, and provide insights for teachers and students who may wish to perform them for recitals.
This album is CD of the week January 30th on FINE MUSIC.
There will be an album signing session and an opportunity to meet with the composer following the concert.
