Lime & Steel bass vocalist 200.jpgWith roots-down banjo fiddle grooves, dust kickin' hoedowns and folk noir ballads, Lime and Steel roll out a show of original songs that splash on just the right amount of paint to get a loving glimpse of the darker side of the Australian soul.

From their home in the Blue Mountains to folk festivals up and down the East Coast of Australia, this 4 piece pour out convict murder ballads, river shanty singalongs and foot-stomping bogan bluegrass love-songs, all cut with equal parts of charm and cheap wine.

"Earthy, poignant and fun....Economic delivery understates some very fine musicianship" - Trad and Now

"Humour, pathos, infectious melodies...and heartfelt harmonies create a homey sing-along setting" - Rhythms Magazine

"Lime and Steel are equally suited to both the festival scene and to intimate pub gigs, as anyone who’s seen them at The Turning Wave Festival, or The Old City Bank in Katoomba can attest."
